Services @ the Didsbury Municipal Library
The Didsbury Library is funded primarily through your tax dollar. The Town of Didsbury provides and maintains the facility. The Library Board, uses an annual appropriation from the Town, the annual Library Operating Grant and the Rural Services Transfer grant from the Province of Alberta, and an annual per capita grant from Mountain View County, to staff and operate the library.
We are proud members of Parkland Regional Library, Alberta's oldest cooperative library system, est. 1959. Our membership in a regional library system enables us to purchase books and other library materials more economically and to share with other libraries more efficiently.
