Makerspace Hours

Thursday                  3:00 - 7:30

Saturday                  1:00 - 4:30

A Makerspace is a place for Creators, Thinkers, Inventors and Problem Solvers to gather to do what they do best. It’s a collaborative work space used for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses anywhere from cutting edge technology to tools that have been used since the stone age. It’s all about creating something out of nothing and exploring your own interests to create something wonderful!
And since our Makerspace is in a library, we’re also a place for people to learn new things and exchange information, and a place that’s free to use forever! Here we learn by doing. Failure is celebrated as a chance to learn, and success is a very happy surprise.
We believe that everyone has a little bit of Maker in them, whether they’re bakers, knitters, writers, welders, electricians, painters, or just someone curious about how things work.
Bring your works in progress to tinker on in a bright and friendly space, get some feedback on a project from the other people in your community, or visit one of our programs and workshops to see what all the fuss is about. Everyone is welcome, you’re never too old or too young!
We can’t wait to see you!
