Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Didsbury Municipal Library!

Library volunteers provide valuable support and assistance in the organization and upkeep of the Didsbury Library. Volunteers also enhance Library services and make a meaningful contribution to the operations of the Library.

We appreciate the generous donation of your time and talents!

Steps to Becoming a Volunteer

  1. All prospective volunteers must complete a volunteer application. Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age. Volunteers under the age of 18 require the signature of a parent or guardian. Volunteer application forms may be filled out digitally and emailed to the Didsbury Library, or a print version may be filled out and dropped off at the Library during our hours of operation.
  2. The Volunteer Coordinator will hold an initial interview with each prospective volunteer.
  3. Prospective volunteers will be provided with an orientation session to become familiar with the Library and its policies and procedures.
